Music and What it Means to Me

--Music. It is food for the soul. It is everything mending, or destroying, in one's heart. The deepest and most passionate love can't be without hearing your favorite song in the background. Let's face it. Music is everyone's soul, whether you like to believe it or not. Music to me means a lot more than anyone else I might see walking down the street. If someone took my iPod and my computer, I would get the computer back. Not that I don't love my iPod but because my computer hosts about 100 Gigabytes of music. I only put 60 GB on my iPod Classic 5G because I don't enjoy 40 GB of random unnamed and f**ked up names of songs. Quite frankly, I love music more than I love.... The thing is I was going to say I love music more than a woman but it really depends on the situation. Say I had a girlfriend but I was running late to find my favorite CD. That's kinda what would happen to me. Driving is absolutely no fun when you're sitting there tapping to the rattle of a monkey-wrench in the back to derive some kind of musical rhythm from it. It just can't happen. The girlfriend part I'm still working on despite having my eye on two potential women. Not the point, however that could be a couple days from now's blog. Love is an abstract noun. It can be explained in music. So in other words, Love = Music. Interesting philosophy isn't it?

  1. I'm somewhat surprised to find myself quoted online—though I must say at least I sound very wise and rather zen-like when I am. :) Well done—a great start.
